1st day afield

I took Big Hoss out to mingo for our first trip afield. A new day

Well its a little bitter sweet while I'm writing this blog. On jan. 9th around 7:30 pm my Tank got hit by a can and he is gone. So after some hard days and nights we decided it might be easier if we got another dog so we called our breeder and she wouldn't have one until around june and we decided that we were not ready for another lab. My second pick for a dog would be a Brittany the smallest of the pointing breed and becoming the number one pick according to GunDog mag.It has always been a dream of mine to own a Brittany in my mind it is the quintessential bird dog for grouse and woodcock.
